High School Training

High School Track & Field  Programs

Our high school training programs are built specifically for track & field athletes who want to advance their performance, gain a recruiting edge, and prepare for competition. Across both summer and fall/winter sessions, athletes will develop:

  • Sprint mechanics & max velocity speed

  • Strength & explosive power for sprinters, hurdlers, and jumpers

  • Speed endurance & race modeling

  • Mobility, recovery, and injury prevention

  • Mental performance skills (focus, resilience, confidence)

  • Recruiting mentorship

  • Performance testing & data tracking

Both programs are designed to challenge athletes at the right level, provide measurable progress, and prepare them to compete at their best on the track and at the next level.

Fall/Winter Competition Team

Registration Open

The Indoor Competition Team is for high school track & field athletes who want to build the strength, speed, and mindset to compete at the next level. This season emphasizes base building and event-specific development, preparing athletes to peak during outdoor season while also gaining valuable indoor competition experience.

Training Highlights

  • Weight training

  • Performance testing and 1-on-1 feedback

  • Motion-capture sprint analysis

  • GPS tracking for speed, acceleration, and workload

  • Indoor competitions to sharpen race readiness

Program Details

  • Duration: September–February

  • Focus: Base building, technical development, and recruiting support

  • Who It’s For: High school track & field athletes preparing to peak during outdoor season

  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesdays, Thursday, Saturday

  • Cost: $525/month

  • Start Date: Monthly sessions beginning in September

  • Location: Archbishop Mitty, West Valley College

 

Summer Competition Team

Registration opens in March

The MVP Summer Competition Team is designed for high school track & field athletes who want to elevate their performance and compete at the highest level. Training focuses on speed, strength, and power development while preparing athletes for regional and national competitions during the summer championship season.

  • Schedule: June–July
  • Focus: Speed, power, strength, and competitive readiness for National Meets

  • Who It’s For: High school track & field athletes aiming to peak for summer championships and advance in recruiting
