Max Velocity Prep

Who We Are

Max Velocity Prep is a competitive youth Track & Field club that mentors, teaches and trains youth ages 7-18. We provide a positive environment to combat the negativities affecting today's youth. While developing our student-athletes, we push our youth to work hard, believe in themselves, be dedicated and commit to excellence.

We believe that overcoming adversity and learning to handle defeat is the key to thriving during challenges in their life. Our mentoring helps youth develop a winning attitude in all that they do in life.

Our training is structured to build student-athletes both mentally and physically. We focus on helping them realize their potential on and off the track. As we help student-athletes gain confidence, they will learn to overcome obstacles, attain substantial personal satisfaction, and achieve success in all that they do.

Archbishop Mitty High School servicing the San Jose Area

Sobrato High School servicing the Morgan Hill and Gilroy areas

Practice starts in February. The season is from April to June and Championship meets are from late June to August.

We recommend each registered student-athlete attend practice for 1 week as an evaluation period. Should you or the coaches decide not to have the athlete join the team. You will be refunded your registration fee minus $50 non-refundable deposit.

Student-athletes should dress in layers. They should wear comfortable and flexible workout clothing. Running shoes are required, no basketball shoes or other flat shoes. Also, please bring plenty of water and sunscreen. Mask are optional.

Each student athlete is not required to attend all practices, but it is highly recommend. Each day is vital to the development of the athlete.
